MANIFESTO
July 27, 2007

The illogical becomes reasonable. Reason goes to sleep and spectres of truth dominate.

An online journal: a collective of thought and reaction. Assertion firmly places the artist back into the role of digestive critic. A response to the malaise and mass consumer culture saturation.

Acconci and Breton. Ballard and Man Ray. De Sade and Atget. Brus and Crowley. Giacometti and Baudelaire. Aragon and De Mannis.

In the style and intent of the art/politic pamphlet around and between The Wars. Our new world war is a summons for a new creative response. The artist is no longer the property of galleries, museums, corporations and promoters. Awareness and activity. Wolves and songbirds, not cattle or ants. Not the antipathetic brats of the youtube and video-revival generations. The more layers and textures, the better. Esthetics and appeal merge with concept and content.
